| Tip 2
When learning a new piece or song, learn a part or phase and replay it within a few minutes. Then repeat again after a few minutes. After around 4-5 repeats, this new information you learned will be chemically protected in your brain and help you remember more.
Here's a better explaination. When you learn something, your brain chemically tags that info as unimportant, remove soon. When you reuse that information, a few tags are put on like coats that say info is useful. When you repeat that process of reusing information, you are chemically protecting that information so you remember it better. Added on: 2008 04 07
