OpenGuitar Site

For those looking for some direction when beginning classical guitar work, OpenGuitar has some great and free resources. If you are a rock guy, like I was growing up playing guitar, the world of classical studies is a whole new discipline. Almost like learning kung-fu or something.

From the home page of the site, you get links to beginning guitar, beyond beginning, music theory and more. A useful part of the site are some of the information, exercises, and study pieces on the further instruction page (http://www.openguitar.com/guitar.html). Even for players used to the low action on electric guitar, try the slur exercise.

The site has enough information to keep you coming back over and over. That is a good sign. Give it a visit (http://www.openguitar.com/index.html).
