| Tip 6 Adding Stress to Practice
Sometimes, when practicing you'll play something perfect. Something better than a recording. The only catch, no one's there. A way to add that stress is to record your session. Many people have digital video cams or someway to record. You'll be amazed at how pushing the record button makes you overly conscious. When playing in front of people, you can often 'cover' a mistake up or blame it on muddy acoustics. A recording, though, is permanent. Well, until you record a better take over it.
