| Musical Newsgroups
A a musician, hobbyist or working or whatever, staying in the know is good and helps keep things fresh. Through Google, you can access different newsgroups, sometimes called ng's, on almost any topic you can fathom. In the days of the using the net pre www, these groups on Usenet were where you found a wealth of info. Through Usenet is where Linux was born. Many people are used to forums and blogs and sites like that--that's just a different evolution of newsgroups. Flame wars and such were birthed in newsgroups.
History lesson aside, try searching using the link below. I frequently read the RMCG newsgroup. That acronym stands for rec.music.classical.guitar. Usenet is setup kinda like web addresses, there are differences of course. But, you'll find a wilder frontier of information to travel through.
