Guitar Furniture
A few weeks ago I purchased four pieces of guitar furniture from Guitar Salon. There are a bench, music stand, guitar stand, and foot stool in this group. I bought the maple set. I had a somewhat bad, but fixable experience with this set. So, here's the bad then the good...plus a picture of my cat.
When putting things together, the screws kept wanting to strip, but that was ok. The music stand is where I had troubles. The shelf that holds the book had the holes drilled on the wrong side. But, here's the good news. Guitar Salon sent a replacement fast. I mean, like super fast. No special shipping or anything. But this new stand was perfect. Overall, the furniture is well built and there is minimal assembly--be careful with the included screws. I wish the foot stool was adjustable, but the bench goes low enough that it's not a problem. The set looks nice and is a great addition to my studio (aka basement lesson area). The price as individual pieces is a little cheaper than the getting the set as a whole. Here's a pic of the set, my cat loves the bench and links are below. ![]() Links: Guitar Salon: (http://www.guitarsalon.com/) stand: (http://www.guitarsalon.com/product-16139-22-German-Style-Guitar-Stand-Maple.aspx) foot stool: (http://www.guitarsalon.com/product-16050-22-German-Style-Foot-Stool-Maple.aspx) bench: (http://www.guitarsalon.com/product-15997-22-German-Style-Adjustable-Seat-Maple.aspx) music stand: (http://www.guitarsalon.com/product-16138-22-German-Style-Music-Stand-Maple.aspx) Added on: 2008 06 30
