Bossa Nova Guitar
Found a cool site focused on the Bossa Nova. There are lots of chords and lyrics setup like a jazz book. There are chord references as you hover over the chord name.
According to Wikipedia, you count the Bossa Nova according to the diagram.
For fingerstyle, use p (thumb) for the bass or root note of the chord and play the higher notes with ami. For picking you can do nearly the same. Pick the whole chord on 1, up pick the high strings on 1&, down pick the root on 2, and up pick the high strings on 2uh. Try taking a familiar song and use this rhythm. Makes The Ramones sound very different. Links: (http://www.bossanovaguitar.com) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bossa_nova) Updated on: 2008 07 14
