Carcassi Prelude Lesson
Article Tags: carcassi prelude lesson
Cacassi's Prelude in Am is a good piece for guitarists interested in fingerstyle, beginners who want chord reinforcement, or a simple warmup for both hands.

For fingerstyle, this piece uses p (thumb) for the bass notes and ami (index, middle, ring) together for the upper chord notes like a lot of blues and country fingerstyle. Also, a m i are used to arpeggiate the upper chord notes.

For beginners, the chord here are fairly basic and give you a different way to practice them. For this reason, this piece would make a nice addition to a warmup routine.
