Key Signatures with Modes and Chords
Here's a reference for key signatures and corresponding modes and chords. I made this as a practice helper so so you can throw down scale patterns rooted on the E string that are close to chords you are playing. Such as playing C#m7 rooted on the 4th fret A, you could play the G# minor scale pattern rooted on the E string 4th fret. Though there are simpler uses for this reference than that example. For songwriting and transcribing jazz or alternate song versions, this can help with chord substitutions and harmony ideas with the melody.
