Sweeps Lesson for Minor Chords
This is a companion lesson to the Sweeps for Major Chords. These are sweep patterns to use in place of major chords. You can use this pattern for any minor or minor 7 chord. The concept is like using a chord substitution. Take a I IV V progression in Gm:
Gm | Gm | Gm | Gm | Cm | Cm | Gm | Gm | Dm | Cm | Gm | Dm | You can accentuate the repetition of the the Gm or Cm chord with one of the two patterns. Another idea is to use the pattern on the last Dm.
