Jazz Turnaround and Substitutions
An excellent lesson is on the jazzguitar.be site. This starts with a basic Imaj7 V7 with the V7 as the turnaround and adds to that basic progression. How complexity is added is by chord substitutions. This is another of the excellent lesson on the site with material that a jazz novice can get into and a enough depth to make your jazz know-how richer. Good stuff.
